FB from past DAM vets (in case this helps):

FYI on Sarah's feedback, we can consider for pure content author roles:

Just spoke with Sarah.

She is an AEM Content Author with AEM author support and training experience.

She is not a DAM Strategist, i.e.

  • She has never set up a Metadata Schema only used them as an author
  • Has never defined or designed a folder structure or permissions or workflows
  • She didn't know about AEM renditions
  • She hadn't heard of Dynamic Media, Brand Portal, Asset Share Commons, etc.

No for DAM Strategy

So, I focused on the PO Role...

  • She has not written Dev Stories before, but she has been an SME approving those stories
  • She has not led ceremonies/meetings, but has attended those meetings and has seen the way they run
  • She has not been responsible to chase folks down for answers on projects she has been the person providing those answers

Overall, I found Sarah very personable, intelligent, and eager to take on new challenges.

I would hesitate to add her as a partner-PO since we require our partners to hit the ground running, sometimes after a project has started.

I do not feel she has the AEM & PO experience needed to immediately start turning requirements into stories and running the agile ceremonies.

Ivan Mak fb:

Ivan was more looking for a PO role ultimately he admitted that he didn't have much DAM strategy experience, only migration to assets, which doesn't actually meet the requirements for this role which is to drive governance and strategy of Assets, not just migrate 1:1. We need a consultant who can truly speak to DAM strategy/Assets.

- Contract roles

- Bill Rate: 110-150/hr

- 100% REMOTE

- They have multiple DAM strategist needs and want to get additional Kris Klank's! I'll send PT and FT candidates since they have multiple openings, I just need to know their situation.

They are suddenly slammed with DAM Strategist request, so if we can try to clone Kris type candidates that'd be great! I'm gathering all the info on additional openings as well for review, may take some shifting around with aligning resources to the role, depending which is higher priority, etc. but AEM is def down badged DAM Strategists/none available and the partner requests are adding up...

Need strong DAM strategy experience, and the ability to drive governance and strategy of Assets, not just migrate 1:1. We need a consultant who can truly speak to DAM strategy/Assets.
