A leading energy-focused organization is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support its Subsurface Data Management team. What Youll Do
- Enter and maintain large volumes of records and metadata within proprietary data management systems
- Organize, catalog, and index documentation using established naming conventions and classification standards
- Review records for accuracy and completeness, identifying and resolving discrepancies as needed
- Scan, upload, and link supporting documentation to the correct digital records
- Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems for efficient retrieval and audit support
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
- Monitor progress against productivity and quality goals while communicating updates to leadership
- Support special projects and provide general administrative assistance to the data management team
What Were Looking For
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative, records management, or data entry experience
- Strong attention to detail with excellent accuracy and organizational skills
- Comfortable working with multiple systems, databases, and proprietary applications
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills required; Excel proficiency strongly preferred
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional approach to handling confidential information
Qualifications
- Previous exposure to records management, document control, or information governance practices
- Interest in or familiarity with exploration, seismic, engineering, or technical data environments is a plus
- Experience supporting corporate or energy industry teams preferred
