Position Summary
Advance Services is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented
Manufacturing material Handler Associate to join a growing manufacturing team. This position is responsible for inspecting, cleaning, marking, packaging, and labeling products while maintaining quality standards and supporting efficient production operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, follows instructions well, and takes pride in producing quality work.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect products and components for quality and accuracy.
- Clean, brand, stamp, package, and label stock items according to specifications.
- Perform ink stamping and parts marking per assembly drawings and work instructions.
- Package and label components using written and verbal instructions.
- Pick orders and prepare materials for shipment.
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory control.
- Restock packaging and production areas with necessary materials.
- Assist in various manufacturing and warehouse functions as needed.
- Safely operate pallet jacks, carts, and other material handling equipment after training.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production and delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic inventory and order-picking experience is a plus.
- Dependable with excellent attendance and work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for approximately 75% of the workday.
- Occasional climbing, approximately 5% of the workday.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent bending, reaching, walking, and material handling.
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
