About the Role: Elite Dermatology PLLC is looking for a friendly and organized Dermatology Receptionist to join our growing team in Fulshear, TX! In this role, you'll be the welcoming face of our practice, ensuring every patient feels comfortable and cared for from the moment they walk through the door. Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients in a warm, professional manner at the front desk
Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using practice management software
Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays and patient payments
Answer and direct incoming phone calls, respond to patient inquiries promptly
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and demographic information
Coordinate referrals and communicate with insurance providers as needed
Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times
Requirements:
Prior experience in a medical or dermatology front desk/receptionist role preferred
Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance verification, and EMR/EHR systems
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy clinical environment
Proficiency in scheduling software and basic computer applications
Dependable, detail-oriented, and a collaborative team player
