The company is seeking a motivated and skilled Design & Release Engineer to work on Vehicle Handles, Locks, and Mechanisms for various vehicle closures. This role involves contributing to advancements in autonomy, electrification, and smart mobility technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical engineering or a related field.
2 years of engineering experience in design, development, or launch of automotive mechanisms.
CAD Capable (such as CATIA, 3DX, Teamcenter) & familiarity with CAE tools and software.
Proficient in MS Office apps such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams, and MS Azure SharePoint.
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Experience in design and release of latching mechanisms, closure systems, or related mechanism applications.
Software literacy and mechatronics experience.
Strong understanding of statistical analysis.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Lead HLM system design and development to deliver regulatory, requirement, design rules, and functional deliverables.
Manage and lead HLM suppliers to comply with program cost, weight, quality, performance, and timing targets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a robust system at vehicle level.
