    What you'll do

    • Facilitate remote legal proceedings, administer oaths, and ensure a smooth process
    • Provide professional client support, including basic tech troubleshooting
    • Digitally record, annotate, and document legal proceedings with precision
    • Maintain and monitor equipment for optimal performance
    • Playback or read back requested testimony with confidence
    • Manage and upload audio files, exhibits, and documentation for seamless transcription

    What you'll need

    • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (higher education is a plus)
    • Certification: AAERT CER or CDR
    • Notary Public Status: Active commission in your state; RON certification required within 3 months (if applicable)
    • Tech Proficiency: Comfortable navigating and troubleshooting digital platforms
    • Virtual Courtroom Experience: Familiarity with Zoom, Google Meet, or similar platforms
    • Attention to Detail: Strong grammar, punctuation, and proofreading skills
    • Professionalism & Work Ethic: Organized, punctual, and proactive
    • Industry Experience: 1-2 years of prior court reporting experience
    • Equipment & Workspace: Access to a high-performance computer capable of running multiple applications simultaneously, a stable internet connection, and any necessary peripherals to support efficient workflow
