Director, Corporate Accounting

A growing organization is seeking an experienced Director of Accounting to lead its accounting function and help support the continued growth of the business.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for an accounting professional with experience overseeing accounting for a multi-entity organization. The Director will oversee financial reporting, month-end close, consolidations, and accounting operations while leading a high-performing team. This individual will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional partners to ensure the accuracy of financial information and continuously improve accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting functions across a multi-entity organization.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, including consolidations.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial statements and reporting across multiple entities.
• Manage and develop the accounting team.
• Oversee reconciliations, general ledger activity, intercompany accounting, and accounting operations.
• Provide guidance on technical accounting and U.S. GAAP matters.
• Coordinate the annual external audit and work with external accounting partners.
• Develop and improve accounting policies, procedures, controls, and processes.
• Partner with FP&A and other Finance leaders on reporting and business initiatives.
• Support accounting systems and process improvement initiatives.
• Provide financial insight and accounting guidance to senior leadership.
• Assist with special projects and other strategic initiatives as the business continues to grow.
