A prestigious luxury boutique hotel in Palm Beach is seeking an experienced Director of Human Resources to lead all HR operations for a 110-employee organization.

Position Overview

As the Director of Human Resources, you will independently oversee all HR functions for the hotel while partnering directly with executive leadership.

This is a one-person HR department requiring someone who is both strategic and operational.

  • New hire onboarding

Talent Acquisition & Recruiting

Recruiting is a major priority for this position.

The successful candidate will own the entire hiring process, including:

  • Writing and managing job postings

  • Resume review

  • Candidate sourcing

  • Phone screenings

  • First-round interviews

  • Candidate selection

  • Offer coordination

  • Background screening

  • New hire onboarding

Payroll & Administration

  • Process payroll accurately and on time

Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years of Human Resources leadership experience

  • Hospitality Human Resources experience strongly preferred

  • Experience managing recruiting and talent acquisition

  • Strong employee relations background

  • Payroll administration experience

  • Knowledge of employment law and HR compliance

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Preferred

  • Luxury hotel or boutique hospitality experience

  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification

  • HRIS and payroll system experience

  • Executive support experience

  • Experience building positive workplace culture
