Position Overview
As the Director of Human Resources, you will independently oversee all HR functions for the hotel while partnering directly with executive leadership.
This is a one-person HR department requiring someone who is both strategic and operational.

Payroll & Administration
Process payroll accurately and on time
Maintain employee records
Coordinate HR documentation
Support executive leadership with administrative needs
Assist with office operations
Serve as liaison for various operational vendors and IT support

Advise leadership on employee relations matters
Conduct investigations
Handle sensitive employee conversations
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws

Qualifications
Required
5+ years of Human Resources leadership experience
Hospitality Human Resources experience strongly preferred
Experience managing recruiting and talent acquisition
Strong employee relations background
Payroll administration experience
Knowledge of employment law and HR compliance
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Preferred
Luxury hotel or boutique hospitality experience
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification
HRIS and payroll system experience
Executive support experience
Experience building positive workplace culture
