Director of Human Resources
Put your human resources leadership skills to work in an organization that is improving the lives of more than 15,000 people of all faiths and backgrounds. Through its staff of 250+ professionals, JF&CS provides integrated services to address mental health and well-being, economic insecurity, disability and aging challenges, and more. Our state-wide reputation for excellence is a direct result of our committed staff—and our Director of Human Resources is charged with the strategies and operations to develop that staff.
This key leadership role sits at the intersection of people, mission, and resources--designing and implementing thoughtful and fiscally sound approaches to recruitment, employee development, compensation and benefits, and employee engagement. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Director will lead our work around people strategy, systems and culture while remaining deeply connected to the day‑to‑day experiences of staff and managers. The Director supervises two additional staff and supports an organization of 250+ full‑time and part‑time employees. Beyond the HR leadership role, the Director will participate in broad-based organization-wide planning on a wide range of strategic and operational issues.
This is a full‑time position with a hybrid schedule, requiring at least 3-4 days per week of in‑person work.
Please note: Rooted in Jewish values, JF&CS is an inclusive organization serving people of all backgrounds. Our diverse staff—including our executive team—intentionally reflects a wide range of faiths and perspectives.
