Job Responsibilities:
The Dishwasher will be responsible for:
- Washing dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using dishwashers or by hand.
- Placing clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas.
- Maintaining kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition.
- Scraping and rinsing food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine.
- Sorting and removing trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
- Sweeping or scrubbing floors.
- Stocking supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars.
- Cleaning garbage cans with water or steam.
- Transferring supplies or equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks.
