Upshift is hiring Dishwashers and Kitchen Helpers for the dining halls of Ann Arbor's biggest university — steady shifts posted through December — plus hotels and event kitchens across Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti. You are a W-2 employee of Upshift; we schedule you on the shifts you choose.
About the job
- Keep the kitchen and dish room clean: dishes, trash, floors, stocking and set-up.
- Take out trash, sweep and mop, restock stations, break down boxes.
- Help set up and reset dining rooms and serving lines.
- Shifts available now — breakfast, lunch and dinner, done by about 9 pm; weekends available. Typical shift 4–8 hours.
Schedule — you choose your own hours

Pay and benefits
- $18.80–$19.00 per hour, shown on every shift before you claim it.

Requirements
- No experience required — we show you the station.
- 18 or older, with a smartphone.
- Able to stand for a full shift and lift up to 50 lb.
- Reliable transportation to campus recommended.
