District Sales Manager- Chicago Area

POSITION SUMMARY:

Serves as the primary metalworking fluids sales professional in an assigned area with MFS’s distributors and customers. Assumes responsibility for providing technical sales support for the Corporation’s products and services, and in conjunction with local distributors, for developing business plans, marketing analysis and maintaining customers. Assumes responsibility for technical assistance and involvement of distributor in all facets of the marketing process.

ILLUSTRATIVE DUTIES:

1. Assists the National Sales Manager in the overall development of the district, including target account selection and development, maintaining contact and good relations with machine tool builders
2. Complies with the Corporation’s policies in respect to travel, expenses and all reporting functions
3. Supports the Premier Distributor Program through effective record keeping, training and communications
4. Effectively manages their pipeline, large and target customer base, distribution network and prioritizes the amount of time by utilizing the DSM Territory Analysis tools, manages new product and cleaner sales revenue and percentages, product and customer mix, and utilizes the provided forecasting tools
