Early Career Recruiting Specialist

This position is ideal for a recruiting professional with 2+ years of experience who enjoys building relationships, managing multiple requisitions, and serving as a trusted talent advisor. While the role may support occasional early-career outreach efforts, it is primarily focused on recruitment execution rather than campus relations or university partnership management.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Cycle Recruitment

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for entry-level and early-career positions across the Northeast Series.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, position requirements, and ideal candidate profiles.
• Develop sourcing strategies to attract qualified and diverse talent.
• Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, coordinate interview processes, and facilitate hiring decisions.
• Present qualified candidate slates and provide market insights to hiring leaders.
• Negotiate offers and support candidates through the pre-employment and onboarding process.
• Help us build a diverse, dynamic pipeline of future leaders in the insurance brokerage industry

Hiring Manager Partnership

• Serve as a trusted recruiting partner to hiring managers by providing guidance on hiring best practices, interview techniques, and talent market trends.
• Conduct intake meetings and establish recruitment plans for open positions.
• Maintain consistent communication with stakeholders regarding candidate pipelines, search progress, and hiring outcomes.

Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Development

• Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, employee referrals, networking, and other talent channels.
• Build and maintain pipelines of qualified entry-level and early-career candidates for current and future hiring needs.
• Develop creative strategies to engage passive talent and increase candidate flow.

Candidate Experience

• Deliver a high-quality candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
• Ensure timely communication with candidates and stakeholders.
• Represent Locktons culture, values, and employer brand in all candidate interactions.
