Early Childhood Teacher - 2-Year-Old Classroom

Location: The Learning Experience - Canton, MI

Pay: $17-$20 per hour (based on experience and credentials)

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

The Learning Experience - Canton is hiring an Early Childhood Teacher for our 2-Year-Old (Prepper) classroom.

This is an exciting stage when children are rapidly developing language, independence, confidence, and early friendships. Youll create a nurturing and structured environment that gives children plenty of opportunities to explore, learn, and develop new skills.

What Youll Do

• Lead daily activities and routines for our 2-Year-Old classroom

• Create developmentally appropriate hands-on learning experiences

• Support language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development

• Encourage independence and emerging self-help skills

• Guide meals, toileting readiness, rest time, play, and transitions

• Provide positive guidance and attentive supervision

• Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom

• Build strong relationships with children and families

• Follow Michigan childcare licensing requirements

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Previous childcare, daycare, or preschool experience preferred

• Experience with toddlers or two-year-olds is a plus

• CDA or ECE coursework preferred

• Patient, energetic, dependable, and nurturing

• Must meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements
