Smithbucklin, a 650-person, employee-owned professional services company with more than 70 years of success serving the association market, with primary offices in Chicago and Washington, D.C., is looking for an Education Coordinator to join our Institute for Credentialing Excellence (ICE) team in Washington, DC.

The Education Coordinator plays a key role in supporting and growing I.C.E.'s educational programming portfolio, including online courses, live events, and the annual conference. This role works closely with internal teams and volunteer leaders to coordinate program delivery, enhance the learner experience, and ensure alignment with the credentialing industry's evolving needs and ICE-CCP body of knowledge.

What You Will Do…

  • Coordinate and execute I.C.E.'s educational programs, including virtual learning, leadership programs, workshops, and conference programming
  • Manage logistics for educational events, including scheduling, speaker coordination, and program delivery
  • Collaborate with volunteer committees and subject matter experts to develop relevant content, formats, and topics
  • Support the development and maintenance of the education product catalog, including course setup and updates
  • Partner with speakers and volunteers to ensure learning experience reflects adult learning practices
  • Support recertification-related programming and alignment to the ICE-CCP body of knowledge
  • Monitor program performance and contribute to growth in participation and engagement
  • Utilize LMS, AMS, authoring software, and virtual tools to administer programs
  • Coordinate internal marketing team, and assist with marketing and promotion of offerings through digital channels and campaigns
  • Assist in evaluating program effectiveness through data tracking and reporting
  • Maintain strong communication with internal teams, vendors, volunteers, and stakeholders
  • Attend the annual I.C.E. conference and support on-site program execution

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Experience working with volunteers or external stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with credentialing or certification programs
  • Experience with LMS, AMS, or virtual event platforms
  • Comfort with data tracking or reporting
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Zoom/Teams, LinkedIn, Canva, or Articulate

Our hybrid environment offers you the option of working from home two days per week. Employees will work a standard 40-hour week, with the possibility of additional hours based on project deadlines.

The salary for this role will be based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and relevant experience. Additionally, successful candidates may qualify for a discretionary bonus up to and including 5% of base pay. The expected pay for this role is: $62,000 to $65,000
