Smithbucklin, a 650-person, employee-owned professional services company with more than 70 years of success serving the association market, is looking for an Education and Learning Sr. Coordinator to join our team in Washington DC.

What You Will Do
- Coordinate educational aspects of program planning for 3-5 clients, including project management, process documentation, data tracking, speaker relations and contracting, vendor relations, content development, on-site execution and post event wrap up.
- Collaborate with or lead volunteer subject matter experts in developing content and program delivery.
- Engage with volunteers regularly and provide a channel for feedback and communication between volunteers, senior leaders, and client team.
- Serve as staff liaison to education committees.
- Volunteer recruitment/management.
- Contribute to experience design for education, client planning and analysis process.
- Support work with "speaker bureau" liaison to finalize speaker negotiations and agreements.
- Oversee the day-to-day activities and delivery of year-round education program administration.
- Monitor financials including revenue/expense performance and staff time.
- Oversee communication with internal teams, vendors, speakers and volunteers for educational programs and initiatives.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution
- 4+ years of relevant professional experience in corporate and/or nonprofit education program management
- Proficiency with basic computer programming, including Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the association space
- Experience with committee and subject matter expert management
- Familiarity with/knowledge of industry trends and delivery methods; (i.e., eLearning, blended learning approaches, podcasts, instructional design, learning management systems, certification tracking tools, etc.)
- Software/tool experience: Zoom, Articulate, Video editing tools, intermediate Excel skills, Entry AI tools (Co-Pilot, Claude)

Smithbucklin is a hybrid work environment with in-office days established as Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Employees will work a standard 40-hour week, with the possibility of additional hours based on project deadlines.
Smithbucklin considers several factors when determining compensation, including a candidate's recent coursework, training, experience, and certifications, among other considerations. The expected pay for this role is $75,000 - $83,000 for Washington DC.
