Starting salary $22.08 per hour
Salary based on experience and educational level on OAPSE Salary Schedule
- Must hold valid Ohio Educational Aide Permit or be able to obtain one
- Experience working with students in small group, resource and/or inclusion settings preferred
- Experience in working with students with Autism or behavioral disorders is preferred
- Must be willing to work independently to support the daily instructional and medically related needs of a special needs student one-on-one, as required
- Must be willing to work collaboratively with teachers to provide support services to students
- Have the ability to communicate effectively with students, staff and parents
- Must have the full support of the Building Principal, Director/Assistant Director of Special Education, and Assistant Superintendent
