Salary based on experience and educational level on OAPSE Salary Schedule
Must hold valid Ohio Educational Aide Permit or be able to obtain one
Experience working with students in small group, resource and/or inclusion settings preferred
Experience in working with students with Autism or behavioral disorders is preferred
Must be willing to work independently to support the daily instructional and medically related needs of a special needs student one-on-one, as required
Must be willing to work collaboratively with teachers to provide support services to students
Have the ability to communicate effectively with students, staff and parents
Must have the full support of the Building Principal, Director/Assistant Director of Special Education, and Assistant Superintendent
