    EHS Specialist Safety Manager needs 5+ years with construction industry experience

    EHS Specialist Safety Manager requires:

    A bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field is typically required.

    Professional certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST) or Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST) may be preferred.

    Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards, including OSHA.

    Experience in conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and developing safety programs.

    EHS Specialist Safety Manager duties:

    Develop and implement safety policies and procedures

    Responsible for creating and maintaining a comprehensive safety program that aligns with company policies and regulatory requirements.

    Developing safety guidelines, protocols, and training programs.

    Conduct risk assessments: You will assess workplace environments and identify potential hazards or risks.

    Inspect equipment, facilities, and processes to ensure compliance with safety standards.

    Manage safety training and education

    Coordinate and deliver safety training programs to employees, contractors, and visitors.

    Conduct safety orientations, providing ongoing training, and promote a safety-conscious culture throughout the organization.
