Electrical Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a collaborative engineering team focused on bringing innovative products to market.

The ideal candidate will have strong PCB level design experience across analog, digital, mixed signal, and power electronics.

Responsibilities

• Design PCB level mixed signal, analog, digital, interface, and power circuits to meet performance and cost requirements
• Develop schematics, bills of materials, drawings, and engineering change documentation using Agile PLM
• Perform engineering analysis, develop test plans and specifications, and document results
• Conduct design verification, performance, compliance, and reliability testing
• Prepare technical documentation, including datasheets, user guides, and application notes
• Provide engineering support for manufacturing and customer technical issues
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve design and production issues

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of hands on PCB level design experience
• Experience designing microcontroller and FPGA based systems incorporating mixed signal, interface, and power conversion circuitry
• Strong problem solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Proficiency with laboratory equipment, including oscilloscopes, function generators, power supplies, and multimeters
• Experience with PCB design tools such as OrCAD Capture, PADS, or Allegro
• Familiarity with EMC, electrical safety, and functional safety requirements
• Experience with motor drives or motion control systems is a plus
• Advanced degree is a plus
$140k to $170k for a budgeted salary range.
