JOB DESCRIPTION
A client in HSV, AL or Franklin, NC is seeking an experienced and motivated (mid-level) EE to join their team. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline. 5+ years of experience designing and developing embedded computing systems for military applications. Strong background in avionics, RF systems, or radar technologies.
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Familiarity with ruggedized or military‑spec hardware design practices. Knowledge of DoD standards and development processes. Experience with signal processing, high‑speed digital design, or mixed‑signal electronics. Proficiency with engineering design tools such as Altium, Mentor Graphics, or similar platforms. Experience with reverse engineering or legacy system sustainment is highly valued.
Design and develop electronic hardware for military platforms
Create and update circuit board designs using Mentor Graphics/Altium
Support embedded computing systems and mission-critical electronics
Work with cross-functional engineering teams on avionics, RF, and radar technologies
Troubleshoot hardware issues and test designs
Support upgrades and modernization of existing military systems
Ensure designs meet military and DoD requirements
