Job Description

Key Responsibilities
  • System Design: Develop single-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, and electrical equipment layouts.
  • Power Studies: Perform load flow, short circuit, coordination, and arc flash analyses using specialized software.
  • Equipment Specification: Select and specify transformers, generators, switchgear, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), and cabling.
  • Grid Interconnection: Coordinate with utility providers to connect the plant to the main electric grid.
  • Control Systems: Support SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) and Distributed Control Systems (DCS) integration.
  • Compliance & Support: Review vendor submittals, provide construction support, and assist during facility startup and commissioning.

    Qualifications & Requirements
    • Education: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
    • Experience: 3 to 7+ years of experience in power systems, industrial facilities, or A&E consulting.
    • Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certificate is preferred.
    • Technical Skills: Proficiency in NEC (National Electrical Code), IEEE standards, and power system analysis tools (e.g., ETAP, SKM PowerTools)

        Required
        • Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering required.
        • Plant power distribution experience .
        • Lighting, power distribution, manufacturing systems power.
        • Titanium manufacturing and Automation systems experience are a plus.
