Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with NEC guidelines
Work with minimal supervision while providing guidance to Apprentices
Cut, bend, and install conduit
Utilize standard electrical testing equipment
Troubleshoot electrical issues
Collaborate with and assist other trades departments as needed
Apply knowledge of policies and procedure followed within the Electrical Division and company
Run any size project from start to finish
Train apprentices and journeyman electricians
Plan new or modified installations to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance, and avoid unsightly, hazardous, and unreliable wiring, consistent with specifications and local electrical codes
Adhere to company safety standards and procedures
Requirements:
Journeyman or Master Electrician license is required
Minimum of 5 years' experience in an industrial electrical role
Able to read blueprints and schematics proficiently to determine the scope of work locations, quantities, and sizes of materials required
Understands various aspects of an industrial facility including structural, electrical, plumbing systems, etc.
Ability to demonstrate strong knowledge of electrical code and apply it daily while on the job
Communicate professionally with customers, project managers, and estimators
Strong understanding of turn-key industrial process
Troubleshoot Equipment Control Systems
Troubleshoot Electrical Power Systems
Blueprint reading
Electrical panel installation
Knowledge and application of National Electric Code
Transformer installation
Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment and to ensure conformance to building and safety codes

Rigging Requirements:
Signal or verbally direct workers engaged in hoisting and moving loads to ensure safety of workers and materials.
Use & recognize limitations of chains, synthetic, metal mesh and wire rope sling
Use & recognize rigging hardware including hooks, shackles, wire rope clips, clamps, eye bolts, softeners and tag lines
Identifies common load configurations & positioning
Calculate load weights
Rigger 2 training - trains on above
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to ascend/descend ladders, scaffolds, stairs, and/or operate scissor/boom lifts while working at height.
Work in permit & non-permit required confined spaces and in proximity to loud equipment.
Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds regularly/occasionally
Must be able to respond quickly to auditory alarms, visual signals, or other effective means to communicate hazards
Must be able to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
Must be able to work in cold/hot environments.
Must be able to traverse irregular and steep terrain.
