Under general supervision for routine, scheduled tasks and direct supervision for more complex tasks, inspects, maintains, tests, repairs, installs, and modifies electrical systems and all related equipment, fixtures, wiring, and appliances at the University. Examines and tests distribution panels, controls, circuits, fixtures, and motors to locate malfunctions such as blown fuses, short circuits, broken wires, loose connections, and worn motor brushes.
