Electronic Assembler II (On-site)

We are seeking an Electronic Assembler II for our client’s electronics manufacturing operations. This position involves hands-on soldering, rework, connector installation, and epoxy application to support the assembly of electromechanical equipment in a cleanroom environment.

• Assemble, disassemble, and modify production subassemblies according to work instructions and process plans.
• Perform hand soldering, rework, connector installation, and epoxy application to IPC Class 3 standards.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, drawings, and assembly instructions.
• Use fixtures to accurately build assemblies.
• Inspect parts and materials before use and completed assemblies for conformance to quality requirements.
• Operate solder reflow ovens, semi-automated pick-and-place machines, and automated measurement systems.
• Record production information using MRP and data collection software.
• Maintain production accuracy and quality in a cleanroom environment.

Qualifications:

• Completion of at least two years of high school or trade school education.
• Hands-on experience with hand soldering, connector installation, and epoxy application to IPC Class 3 standards.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and drawings.
• Ability to obtain solder certification.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Availability to work the stated second-shift schedule onsite.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with rework and mechanical bonding and/or tack bonding using epoxy.
• Completion of J-Standard Modules 1, 3, and 6.
• IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD certifications.
• Selective soldering and high-volume wave soldering experience.
• Experience with automated optical inspection (AOI) and automated X-ray inspection (AXI) using IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards.
• Experience using MRP and production data collection software.

Pay Rate: $29.70 per hour, including shift differential
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, typically 4:30 p.m.–3:00 a.m. (four 10-hour shifts)
