About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Embroidery Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in Largo, FL. This role involves operating multi-head computerized embroidery machines to produce high-quality embroidered products efficiently and accurately. The position requires adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and workflow management to meet production quotas.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate multi-head computerized embroidery machines using computer systems to retrieve artwork, log orders, and transfer projects through production stages
• Upload digitized embroidery files into machines and select appropriate logo rotation and machine settings for each item
• Input thread color sequences based on production specifications and hoop garments or products with proper alignment using appropriate hoops
• Monitor and inspect embroidered designs to ensure accurate placement and maintain quality standards, identifying and addressing defects or quality concerns
• Make machine adjustments, including tension, needle changes, needle centering, and bobbin checks, to optimize performance
• Follow all safety protocols related to sharp objects, workplace safety, and company policies
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with safety procedures
• Lift, bend, and move boxes weighing up to 35 pounds as needed for production tasks
• Perform repetitive hand and arm movements during machine operation and stand for extended periods throughout shifts
• Troubleshoot machine issues independently and communicate effectively with team leads and colleagues to resolve production concerns

Required Qualifications

• Ability to lift, bend, and move boxes weighing up to 35 pounds
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality standards and meeting production quotas
• Effective communication skills and ability to understand written instructions
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with computer systems for order management

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with embroidery or printing
• Knowledge of embroidery machine settings and adjustments

Tools, Equipment, and Systems

• Multi-head computerized embroidery machines
• Computer systems for artwork retrieval and order logging
• Embroidery hoops and related tools

Work Environment and Physical Requirements
