Embroidery Machine Operator - Largo, FL

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Pay: $17.5 per hour

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Embroidery Machine Operator to operate multi-head computerized embroidery machines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The primary focus of this role is to produce high-quality embroidered products by managing embroidery processes, ensuring precision, and maintaining safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Use computer systems to retrieve artwork, log into and out of orders, and transfer orders to the next production stage.
• Upload digitized embroidery files into multi-head embroidery machines.
• Select correct logo rotation and machine settings for each item.
• Input thread color sequences according to production specifications.
• Hoop garments and products with appropriate hoops, ensuring correct alignment and placement.
• Monitor embroidery production to ensure designs are accurately placed and meet quality standards.
• Inspect products throughout production for defects or quality concerns.
• Make machine adjustments, including tension, needle changes, needle centering, and bobbin checks.
• Follow all safety protocols for sharp objects and workplace safety.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and department leads.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to lift, bend, and move boxes weighing up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Effective communication skills to understand instructions and coordinate with team members.
• Prior embroidery or printing experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous embroidery or printing experience.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.

Tools / Equipment / Systems

• Multi-head computerized embroidery machines.
• Computer systems for artwork retrieval and order management.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Frequent bending, lifting, and moving materials up to 35 pounds.
• Standing for extended periods.
• Repetitive hand and arm movements during machine operation.
• Fast-paced manufacturing setting.
