We are seeking a reliable Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our Event Coverage Core Team in CA. This is a secure W2 hourly position offering predictable local scheduling, competitive pay, and a supportive leadership network that treats you like the medical professional you are.

What You'll Do
Provide high-quality on-site emergency medical coverage, initial triage, and first aid during assigned local athletic and event coverage shifts.
Respond rapidly to acute medical incidents, athletic injuries, or emergency situations on-site.
Assess patient conditions, deliver immediate care within the EMT scope of practice, and coordinate higher-level EMS transport when necessary.
Maintain clear, accurate, and confidential electronic incident and care documentation.
Maintain and inventory event medical kits and emergency response supplies before and after shifts.
Serve as a professional, calm, and reassuring medical presence for athletes, event participants, staff, and spectators.
Requirements
3+ years EMT Event Experience REQUIRED
Current EMT Certification (NREMT and/or Pennsylvania EMT State Certification)
Current CPR / BLS for Healthcare Providers certification
Mandated Reporter training within the last 2 years
Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to shift locations in/around San Diego, CA
Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor under pressure
Background checks and clearances as required by Pennsylvania state guidelines (e.g., Child Abuse, FBI Fingerprinting, Criminal History)
