Responsibilities:
- Assessing patients' conditions and determining the appropriate course of action
- Administering basic life support measures, including CPR and first aid
- Monitoring and recording vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiratory rate
- Assisting with the transportation of patients to medical facilities
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient care - Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records
Requirements:
- Colorado State EMS License
- Current BLS
- Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
- Experience administering injections and performing physical examinations
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
