## The group you'll be a part of

The SEM Lab in Tualatin is committed to providing best-in-class microscopy services to support Lam's engineering and development efforts. Our objective is high volume metrology data generation, with rapid turnaround times to facilitate more experimental iterations and a faster time to solution.

## What you'll do

This position is for a TEM operator working a Back End Night shift.

• • Shift will be 12hrs Wednesday-Friday plus every other Saturday
• Operate a state-of-the-art TEM in order to image semiconductor samples.
• Protect customer IP through procedure and vigilance.
• Generate and integrate feedback contributing to the continuous improvement of the sample preparation process.
• Produce the best quality data in support of Lam's processes.

## Preferred qualifications

• Experience operating HRTEM and S/TEM for imaging. Ideal candidates will have performed semiconductor or materials imaging.
• A BS or Associate level degree in a physical science such as Physics, Engineering or Chemistry.
• Knowledge of physics involved with FIB/SEM and TEM tools, such as vacuum systems, diffraction, and ion sputtering behavior.
• Experience in customer IP protection and sample handling.
• Experience with TEM sample preparation using a FIB preferred.
• Experience with EDS and EELS preferred.
