    Description

    Department: Enrollment Management & Student Affairs

    Sub department: Enrollment Management/ Financial Aid

    Type of Appointment: Part time - Regular

    Salary: Start of $12.25 per hour, based on education and experience

    Duties and Responsibilities: • Maintain knowledge of the general College policies and procedures.
    • Provide front counter customer service to all prospective and current students regarding enrollment, financial aid, advising, registration, and student services.
    • Assist students with admissions and financial aid online applications and paperwork.
    • Proctor classes taught via telepresence instruction.
    • Respond to emails received and screen calls and voicemails on the main phone line. Escalate/route messages to appropriate person when needed.
    • Promptly, accurately, and professionally respond to student inquiries and questions.
    • Perform a wide variety of administrative/clerical and technical support for enrollment and student services and the Allied Health programs.
    • Develop and maintain a professional working relationship with individuals and departments on campus.
    • Maintain inventory and ordering of all equipment and supplies.
    • Process and post outgoing mail and distribute incoming mail and other materials.
    • Maintain strict confidentiality of all student information based on FERPA regulations.
    • Facilitates the intake of Nursing and Allied Health cohort applications and paperwork for the Instructional Site, by coordinating with applicants, faculty, and program leadership to ensure a smooth and timely workflow.
    • Other duties as deemed necessary.

    Required Education: High School diploma or equivalency

    Required Experience: At least two years’ experience working in K-12, higher education, or an administrative support role (or combination thereof) for a fast-paced professional office environment.

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population.
    • Strong organization skills, detail-oriented with ability to multi-task.
    • Skilled at providing excellent customer service.
    • Proficiency in the use of standard office equipment and networked personal computers.
    • Proficiency in or ability to become proficient in a variety of software, including but not limited to Microsoft Office.
    • Oral and written communication skills.
    • Ability to perform basic mathematical computations needed to complete job tasks.
    • Skilled at planning, organizing, and prioritizing job duties to meet deadlines.
    • Maintaining interpersonal professional working relationship at all levels – students, peers, and Executives.

    Required Licenses or Certifications: 

    Preferred Education: • Associate degree.
