Entry/Junior level Manufacturing Engineer

Our client, a prominent player in the growing electric power sector, is searching for a passionate and eager professional to support manufacturing operations in Memphis. They are keen to welcome a candidate skilled in both English and Spanish, though this is not essential. Relocation assistance is available, ideally suited for individuals currently renting. The role revolves around gaining hands-on experience in production processes, mastering manufacturing systems, and playing an active role in process improvement projects, all while working under guided mentorship. Key responsibilities include: crafting and updating work instructions, troubleshooting processes on-site, compiling and interpreting fundamental production metrics like scrap and cycle time, participating in Lean/Six Sigma initiatives, advancing process optimization and cost-effective solutions, preparing tooling and machinery for operations, upholding rigorous safety and quality standards, and collaborating with technical staff to address immediate production challenges.
