Equipment Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned equipment safely and efficiently according to company procedures and site requirements.
• Perform routine inspections before and after use to ensure equipment is in proper working condition.
• Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance needs, malfunctions, or safety concerns promptly.
• Follow all safety guidelines, operating instructions, and job-site rules at all times.
• Assist with loading, unloading, moving, or positioning materials as needed.
• Maintain accurate logs or records related to equipment use, inspections, and daily activities.
• Work closely with team members, supervisors, and other departments to complete tasks efficiently.
• Keep work areas organized and support general site cleanliness and safety.
• Adapt to changing priorities and assist with additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating equipment in a similar environment is preferred.
• Ability to learn and follow operating procedures, safety protocols, and workplace instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively as part of a team.
• Basic mechanical awareness and the ability to identify equipment issues.
