Events Planner

EVENT PLANNER, School of Engineering, to plan, coordinate, and execute events hosted in the Hacker Reactor (E38, 7th Floor) by iHQ resident units, MIT DLCIs, and sponsored external partners. Will also provide periodic events management for select SoE programs. Manages the full life-cycle of events, including scheduling, logistics, facilities, décor, catering, audiovisual services, vendors, speakers, transportation, promotion, registration, budgets, invoicing, and evaluation; serves as primary contact, assessing needs, recommending solutions, communicating timelines, and providing onsite support; maintains the event calendar and database, optimizes space use, and administers policies, procedures, and contracts; partners with Facilities and the SoE Dean's Office to market the venue, cultivate stakeholder relationships, track performance metrics, and present quarterly analyses and recommendations.
