Events and Initiatives Manager Massachusetts Institute of TechnologyEvents and Initiatives ManagerCambridge, MAThis position will supervise the Events and Administration Planning Assistant in the CSAIL Director's Office, including managing recruitment, onboarding, training, development, and performance reviews; may supervise other HQ staff members as determined by needs of the Lab; and will plan and manage CSAIL events coordinated by the CSAIL Director's Office (DIRO) team such as Dertouzos Distinguished Lecture Series, CEO fireside chats, Hot Topics talk series, special colloquia and symposia, award celebrations, social events, memorial services, retirement celebrations, etc. This position will also manage CSAIL strategic and sponsored related events; collaborate with program faculty and staff, other MIT offices, students, outside vendors and alumni groups to successfully plan and execute technical conferences, sponsor workshops, site visits, guest lectures, and special projects; and collaborate with CSAIL HQ staff who are involved in the execution of these events.
