Administrative Assistant
Back Bay Staffing Group is seeking an experienced administrative assistant who will manage the schedule of a very busy professional at a local university. Duties include:
- Prepares and analyzes briefing, background and other material in preparation for the Vice Chancellor's meetings,
- Coordinates with appropriate university staffing; implements appropriate follow through for meetings and appointments.
- Acts a liaison to other staff members regarding correspondence, scheduling, general office procedure
- Manages all required administrative documentation such as purchase orders, pro-card log, travel expense reimbursements, and personnel action forms, including time sheet and bi-weekly payroll for office staff.
- Hire, schedule and supervise student employees delegating tasks and following up to ensure completion.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
- Must have a minimum of 3 to 5 years in an executive assistant role, preferably in an educational setting.
- Advanced proficiency in PeopleSoft for Financial, Student Data and Human Resource applications.
