The RMP Promise
Rocky Mountain Prep is a movement of educators, families, scholars, and advocates committed to changing public education in Colorado by democratizing college access for historically marginalized students and families. We operate twelve college-preparatory schools serving students from early childhood through twelfth grade, and we are fundamentally a world-class learning organization that invests deeply in every educator who joins us. Teachers engage in ongoing coaching and professional development, supported by clear expectations, transparent feedback, and opportunities to strengthen their craft and advance along individualized career pathways grounded in our PEAK values. Rooted in a culture of rigor and love, RMP promises to coach, develop, and champion every team member so they can do their best work and grow as professionals, people, and leaders.
About the Role
The Executive Assistant to the CEO is Rocky Mountain Prep’s chief anticipator — the person who stays two steps ahead of the CEO, not two steps behind. This is not a traditional administrative role: it is a strategic operations partnership built around one person’s effectiveness, discretion, and pace. The Executive Assistant owns the CEO’s calendar, meeting preparation, and daily operating rhythm; anticipates what the CEO will need before she asks; and treats the unglamorous work of keeping a CEO ready and on track — building agendas, prepping materials, managing logistics — as real, valued operational work, not lesser work. This person is proactive by default: they flag what’s coming, surface what needs attention, and build the systems that keep the CEO’s time aligned to her highest priorities, rather than waiting for a daily task list. This role focuses exclusively on the CEO’s personal readiness and operating rhythm, including her preparation for Board and governance moments — it does not coordinate work across NST teams or own network-wide logistics, which sit with other functions. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can represent the CEO warmly and credibly to any audience, brings genuine professional polish, and is equally comfortable thinking two steps ahead strategically and handling next-step logistics personally.
