City Limits Diner is one of the busiest breakfast and lunch restaurants in Lenawee County, serving as many as 450 guests in a day. We’re known for our omelettes, burgers, loyal regulars, and fast-paced service.


We are looking for an experienced, dependable Server who is friendly, quick, organized, and comfortable working in a busy restaurant.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR


The ideal candidate genuinely enjoys taking care of customers and knows how to stay calm, friendly, and accurate when the restaurant gets busy.


You should be able to manage multiple tables, communicate well with the kitchen and other servers, and provide great service without needing constant supervision.


Previous restaurant serving experience is strongly preferred.


RESPONSIBILITIES


• Greet guests promptly and make them feel welcome
• Take accurate food and beverage orders
• Answer questions about menu items and preparation
• Enter orders accurately
• Deliver food and beverages efficiently
• Check on guests throughout their meal
• Anticipate refills and customer needs
• Handle requests and concerns professionally
• Process cash and credit-card payments accurately
• Help maintain a clean and organized dining room
• Work as part of a team during busy breakfast and lunch shifts


QUALIFICATIONS


• Previous serving experience preferred
• Friendly and outgoing personality
• Dependable and punctual
• Strong customer-service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant
• Able to stand for extended periods and safely carry trays
• Basic knowledge of food-safety practices
• Weekend availability is highly preferred
