Fabrication Project Manager - Structural Steel

Looking for a hands-on Project Manager in Florence, KY to own structural steel fabrication projects from contract through erection. Success means shop, field, and customer stay aligned on cost, timing, and quality.

You'll be responsible for:

• Track costs, billing, and production progress, and flag risks early
• Manage fabricated steel projects from contract award through closeout: scope, schedule, budget, and change orders
• Coordinate closely with steel erectors on sequencing, delivery schedules, field issues, and site logistics
• Run project meetings with general contractors, owners, and erectors; manage RFIs and submittals
• Work with detailers, engineers, and the shop to keep drawings, approvals, and fabrication on track

Experience needed:

• Proven experience coordinating with steel erectors and field crews
• 8+ years of project management in structural steel fabrication or steel erection
• Strong communication, scheduling, and cost-control skills
• Able to read structural and shop drawings
• Engineering or construction management degree, or equivalent experience, preferred
