Job Summary:
The Facilities Coordinator supports daily workplace operations by addressing facility-related requests, coordinating maintenance needs, and ensuring a safe and functional office environment. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees, helping manage service requests, maintain facility supplies, and assist with operational issues across the site.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Address common facility issues such as carpet stains, malfunctioning doors, broken desk components, or office equipment issues.
  • Serve as a customer-facing representative and a visible presence at the site to assist employees with facility-related concerns.
  • Relay requests and messages to the internal help desk when employees submit service tickets.
  • Manage tickets assigned through the help desk system and coordinate follow-ups for issues such as lighting, furniture damage, or equipment repairs.
  • Work closely with a senior Facilities Manager to support daily facility operations.
  • Order and maintain pantry supplies including coffee, cutlery, and other kitchen items.
  • Enter and track service tickets in the system to ensure timely facility maintenance and repairs.
  • Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized workplace environment.
Required Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills including email communication, basic Excel usage, and ability to learn internal ticketing systems.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations.
Nice-to-Have Experience:
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
  • Previous experience working in facilities or workplace operations.
