The Graduate School of Education, Rutgers University invites applications for Lecturer (formerly Part Time Lecturers) teaching positions in the Department of Learning and Teaching during the 2026 Fall semester, September 1, 2026 December 22, 2026

Successful applicants will instruct undergraduate or graduate level courses in a demonstrated specialization and/or content areas (Math, Science, Literacy/English, Social Studies, Technology, Elementary Education, Language Education, Adult and Continuing Education and/or Foundation areas)

Courses will be taught in a range of modalities. Course appointments are in the New Brunswick area, as well as, hybrid/online format.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience

Masters Degree Required.

Doctorate Degree Preferred.

Applicants with other degrees from an accredited institution will be considered. Some prior teaching experience is also preferred.
