Reconciling accounts and maintaining accurate financial records to foster strong business partnerships with Sales finance, Channel Marketing, Procurement, and AP teams to promote teamwork and organizational alignment, including sharing best practices across divisions.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned. In this position, either directly or through others, the incumbent will:
Submit budget request (Plan Proposals) for Marketing programs and Ensures adherence to budget policies, procedures, and regulations.
Managing the payment schedule, ensuring timely payments to vendors, and maintaining communication regarding payment status.
Verify purchase orders against invoices to ensure goods and services are received and paid for correctly Reconciling accounts payable ledgers, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Assisting in month-end closing activities, including accruals and reconciliations.
Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
Review POP (proof of performance), BOL, Contracts, Term Sheets (MDF and SD) for payment.
Background/Experience to qualify for this position, the following minimal background and skill levels are required:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or related field and minimum of 3- 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or occupation Experience in managing A/R, A/P and financial closing process Demonstrated ability to identifying areas of process improvement and managing improvement projects until completion Experience in business process review and analysis, including financial and operational analysis and audits

Physical/Mental Demands and Working Conditions: The position requires the ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities in the following environment:
Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal more than 75% of work time Lift, move, or adjust general office equipment and boxes of presentation or media materials using proper materials handling equipment and procedures Physically make project presentations or demonstrations to customers and internal and external groups using verbal and graphics communication modes Ability to work additional hours beyond normal schedule Ability to work in a high stress environment
