Our client, a manufacturing company based in Allentown, Pennsylvania, is seeking a Financial Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting functions. This role works closely with the finance and operations teams to provide data-driven insights that guide business decisions across multiple product lines.

The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in financial modeling and variance analysis, along with the ability to translate complex data into clear recommendations for management. This position offers exposure to plant-level cost accounting as well as corporate financial planning.

This is a full-time, on-site position offering a stable career path within a growing manufacturing organization. Candidates with two or more years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for management review
  • Build and maintain financial models to support forecasting and budgeting
  • Analyze variances between actual results and budgeted figures
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes
  • Track key performance indicators across departments
  • Assist with capital expenditure analysis and cost justification
  • Collaborate with operations teams on cost reduction initiatives
  • Prepare ad hoc analysis and reports for senior leadership

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum of two years of financial analysis experience
  • Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and financial modeling
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with GAAP accounting principles
