Job DetailsWe are currently seeking an Equity Compensation Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid analytical background and an interest in learning within the private equity industry.
Responsibilities:
- Equity Program Administration: Manage the end-to-end administration of firm equity programs (e.g., stock options, RSUs, carried interest, and profits interests), ensuring compliance with company policies and governance standards.
- Market Benchmarking & Analysis: Conduct salary and equity surveys to evaluate market trends, benchmark positions, and maintain competitive compensation structures across all levels.
- Compensation Plan Design: Assist in designing, modeling, and evaluating new and revised compensation programs to align employee performance incentives with long-term firm goals.
- Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and enforce compliance with federal, state, and local wage regulations, tax requirements, and governance rules surrounding equity distribution.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with HR business partners, talent acquisition, and finance teams to design competitive candidate offer packages and ensure internal equity.
- Reporting & Data Analytics: Develop reports, dashboards, and presentation materials for senior leadership to track compensation metrics, equity distribution, and dilution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a financial or accounting analyst
- Equity compensation experience is nice to have but not necessary
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while still delivering high-quality results.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
