Summary:
The main functions of a financial analyst are to gather and analyze financial information. They typically conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting investment programs of public or private institutions. A typical financial analyst is responsible for analyzing and communicating financial information for clients.
 
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all assigned levels within and outside the company.
  • Gather and analyze large sets of data from multiple sources, preparing both quantitative and qualitative analysis of information.
  • Manage vendor invoices, ensuring their accuracy and timely payment processing.
  • Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records to foster strong business partnerships with Sales finance, Channel Marketing, Procurement, and AP teams.
  • Submit budget requests (Plan Proposals) for Marketing programs and ensure adherence to budget policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Manage the payment schedule, ensuring timely payments to vendors, and maintain communication regarding payment status.
  • Verify purchase orders against invoices to ensure goods and services are received and paid for correctly.
  • Assist in month-end closing activities, including accruals and reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
  • Review POP (proof of performance), BOL, Contracts, Term Sheets (MDF and SD) for payment.
 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field and a minimum of 3-5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or occupation.
  • Experience in managing A/R, A/P, and financial closing processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify areas of process improvement and manage improvement projects until completion.
  • Experience in business process review and analysis, including financial and operational analysis and audits.
 
Skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • In-depth knowledge and expertise with SAP or other financial systems.
  • Demonstrated competency in both oral and written communication modes for both internal and external personnel at various levels, especially in the sales and marketing, and financial areas.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment to achieve personal and team goals and complete assignments within established time frames.
  • Demonstrated excellence in time management skills and follow-up to ensure meeting on-time deliverables.
  • Ability to make decisions and solve problems on time-sensitive matters.
 
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $50.00 - $50.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
