The Best Connection are recruiting Production Operatives for our client a well established and highly respected manufacturer of fresh meat and deli products. Candidates will be handling fresh meat, including Pork products in a controlled environment and will be working with a friendly team many of whom have worked happily at the site for many years.
The roles are offered with the following shift pattern - Pay rates are £12.71 per hour
Monday - Friday 06:00 - 14:00 hrs
Responsibilities of the Food Production/Operative role include:
- Prepare raw meat products and pastry products to specification and production targets
- Clean and sanitise all equipment and utensils post and pre production to the highest standards
- Follow all health and safety and food hygiene protocol reporting any hazards or concerns to management.
- Work collaboratively with the team, and carry out other duties as required including cleaning and sanitising.
- Wear required PPE at all times
Requirements of the Food Production Operative:
- Follow all PPE Food production guidelines, and hygiene protocol at all times
- Be able to commit to early shift patterns on an on-going basis.
- Have own reliable transport or live locally to fit in with shift requirements
- Have a positive can - do attitude with good communication skills
- Happy to work in chilled environment as required.
