In a Food Service Operation Worker job you’ll be responsible for:
Preparing, cooking, and serving a variety of foods for both regular and modified diets.
Operating electrical and mechanical kitchen equipment, using sharp utensils, and safely lifting up to 40 lbs. (75 lbs. with assistance).
Setting up serving lines and portioning meals for trays and cafeteria service.
Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, utensils, fixtures, floors, and food service areas.
Walking/standing for extended periods and wearing slip-resistant shoes in a fast-paced environment.
Operating cash registers, food carts, and occasionally assisting with vehicle safety and transport.
What you’ll need:
Ability to complete tasks within assigned time frames with accuracy.
Physical ability to bend, stoop, lift, push, and stand for long periods of time.
Comfort working in a kitchen environment with hot equipment, repetitive motion, and wet/slippery floors.
Willingness to work a rotating weekend schedule (2 weekends on, 1 weekend off).
Perks:
Pay starting at $13.50/hour
Full-time, 40-hour work week (shifts may be 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM OR 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM).
