Forward Deployed Strategist - DC & Tampa (Remote)

Triumphant Nerd is searching for a Forward Deployed Strategist to lead customer engagements and shape mission-critical software solutions for our client.

We're looking for someone who combines customer leadership, product judgment, and hands-on data intuition. You'll work directly with government customers and engineers to identify operational challenges, prioritize what gets built, and turn successful deployments into lasting customer relationships. Production coding is not required, but strong technical fluency is essential.

What we're looking for:

• Proven ability to own complex customer engagements, build trusted relationships, and drive measurable mission or business outcomes
• Strong product and strategic judgment, translating ambiguous customer needs into scoped capabilities and engineering priorities
• Practical understanding of data models, entities, relationships, and identifiers, with the ability to independently investigate data problems and validate assumptions
• Working knowledge of software development, data integration, and application workflows
• Experience navigating complex stakeholders and organizational obstacles to deliver results
• Understanding of government missions, acquisition, budgeting, and contracting, or the ability to learn quickly
• Experience with enterprise data platforms, SQL, data modeling, or operational analytics is a plus
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Active Secret clearance required; active TS/SCI strongly preferred
• Full-time, hybrid availability in Washington, D.C. or Tampa, FL, including onsite work in classified or secure customer environments
• Willingness to travel up to 40%, with occasional extended hours based on mission needs
• Compensation: Up to $185K, plus benefits that may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and more perks
