Fry Cook

About the Role:
Indis Fast Food Restaurant in Jeffersonville, IN is looking for a motivated and reliable Fry Cook to join our kitchen team! Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor deep fryers and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Prepare and cook menu items to order according to Indis' quality and timing standards
• Maintain proper food temperatures and follow food safety and handling procedures
• Keep the fry station clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout each shift
• Communicate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth, timely order fulfillment
• Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food inventory as needed
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a fry cook, line cook, or in a fast food kitchen is a plus but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and consistency
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices preferred
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
