Performs general maintenance and repair work on various building items and equipment under general supervision.
Assists with duties, including patch and paint, heating/cooling. flooring, lighting, event activity set-up, delivery of materials, and the clean-up of shop and work areas.
Assists skilled trades employees with daily activities on assigned jobs.
Maintains facility grounds and environment in a clean, attractive, orderly, safe, and healthy condition.
Maintains records of repairs and equipment requiring future service.
Maintains all classroom and residential buildings, laboratories, libraries and all public spaces in a safe, clean and orderly condition.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of carpentry, drywall repair, flooring, painting, concrete, basic plumbing, heating and air conditioning and landscape maintenance.
