Position Summary
The Global Medical Director leads the Medical Strategy and Safety function within Clinical and Medical Affairs (CMA), serving as the medical expert across the organization and a key member of a global, cross-functional team. This role contributes to improving patient outcomes by ensuring the safe and effective integration of Teleflex products, procedures, and educational programs into clinical practice. The Global Medical Director provides medical leadership and expertise regarding product safety, efficacy, clinical evidence, approved indications, precautions, warnings, and emerging products. The role is responsible for delivering proactive and responsive medical guidance to internal and external stakeholders, supporting the responsible use of Teleflex products throughout the product lifecycle, including the assessment of unsolicited off-label inquiries related to FDA-cleared products. As a subject matter expert, the Global Medical Director drives medical strategy, leads complex cross-functional initiatives, and partners across CMA and other functions to address clinical and scientific challenges. The position plays a critical role in generating and communicating scientific evidence, identifying and overcoming barriers to product adoption, and supporting physician engagement activities worldwide. Through peer-to-peer interactions, scientific exchange, and strategic stakeholder collaboration, the Global Medical Director helps advance patient safety, optimize clinical outcomes, and promote the appropriate utilization of Teleflex products.

Drive scientific communication and medical education initiatives by generating, interpreting, and disseminating clinical evidence, supporting physician engagement, and facilitating the development of medically accurate customer-facing resources.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $280,000-$290,000, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will also include benefits such as medical, prescription drug, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, participation in 401(k) savings plan, and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO, short- and long-term disability and parental leave, dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
